Produced exclusively in Benin, WakaShea is a 100% African brandy, with a powerful and refined taste, created to satisfy the most demanding connoisseurs of spirits. The best shea fruits are hand-picked by the women of Wakapou’s partner cooperatives who extract the pulp. The brandy is then obtained by a double distillation of the fermented shea pulp which reveals its aromatic complexity, intensity and exceptional texture.
WakaShea is a pleasure drink, served at a temperature between 8° and 10°, which can be enjoyed as an aperitif or as a digestive. WakaShea is also ideal for preparing delicious cocktails by combining it with mint, sugar and ice cubes; or with an espresso coffee mixed with cinnamon and cloves; or with prosecco and pineapple juice.
Finally, WakaShea brandy can also be used in cooking to add a unique flavor to your culinary preparations. It can be used as an ingredient in a multitude of tasty recipes: in your sauces, on grilled fish, and especially in your favorite desserts such as Vacherins, Bavarians or the famous fruits in brandy.
